Math is FUN!

Just ask the students and families that came to our Math and Logic Night!

We had some great challenging games, a fun treat and prizes.

Everyone went home with fun games to play with their families.

Even the college students from BYU-Idaho

had fun, and enjoyed teaching the games.

They were great to volunteer their time

so the parents could focus on their children

and not be in charge of a game!

Free -Family Math and Logic Game Night!

Hibbards Math and Logic Night is

Thursday, November 19th.

It is an open house, from 5:30-6:30

come and play games, make a fun snack,

and take a few games home to play!

We hope you will come and support your students in learning

how fun Math is!

Don't forget to bring your Math flyer with the game completed for a prize!

( Sudoku or dot to dot-for Kindergarten students)

A few dates to remember

As a PTO we have planned a math night for November 19th. We hope you will bring your children and participate in the fun games!

We have volunteers from BYU-Idaho to help with the game tables that night, so you can spend that time with your children. There is no charge.

We hope this will be a fun night with Mom and Dad!

We also have planned a book Fair Dec. 3,4, and 7th. Dec. 3rd we will offer a reading night with Christmas stories.

We are wanting to invite Santa to come and let the kids sit on his lap and tell him how good they have been, but we haven't been able to find his contact info. If anyone knows how to find him would you please call me at 656.0154, or 221.6172

I am sure he would love to see all the great students we have at Hibbard, and their brothers and sisters too!

Thanks for raising such fine children! Hibbard Elementary is great because we have great teachers, students and families!

Dear Hibbard Parents & Teachers,

As a PTO we are trying to plan activities that encourage learning.

The Hibbard PTO is sponsoring a Family Math & Logic Night on November 19^th.

We are looking for Math and Logic Games that are for one-2 players, and for skill levels pre-school – 5^th grade. Each game will be at a “station” with a volunteer to help explain the game. There will be prizes for completing or participating in the Math Night Games. We are “calculating” that this night will be a great “addition” to our children’s “sum” education!
